CH07 Shell Chair, designed in 1963 by Hans J. Wegner. Recent production by Carl Hansen & Søn.
The CH07 is considered one of Hans J. Wegner’s most groundbreaking designs, for its graceful lightness. A floating, plane-like seat and backrest of form-pressed veneer, upholstered in luxurious leather, accomodates the user in generous comfort. Underneath it is held by a T-shaped frame with three arched legs of highly engeneered laminate, resulting in a unique and stable form.
