The piece
Conceived by the Castiglioni brothers in 1962, it is the paradigm of the arched-type floor lamp, and arguably of all Italian modern design. A statement and aspirational piece ever since its launch.
The lamp is in overall very good condition with some minor defects and traces of wear, consistent with two decades of use. Some lesser scratches can be found in the marble base and the screen, but none that stand out or barely affect its great appearance. The floor switch has been damaged, but is is a standard component that can easily be replaced. Overall great condition for a vintage edition of this classic.
