More about...

The piece
The Medusa table lamp, designed by Andrea Quaglio and Manuela Simonelli, is a refined blend of softness and structure. Its delicate, flowing form recalls the organic movement of a jellyfish, while the diffused light creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Elegant and poetic, Medusa stands as both a lighting object and a sculptural statement, embodying Oluce’s timeless design philosophy.

The brand
Oluce, founded in 1945, is the oldest active design lighting company in Italy. Its history is marked by the collaboration with master Vico Magistretti, creator of the unmistakable Atollo lamp, a masterpiece of pure geometric shapes that won the Compasso d'Oro. Oluce is defined by a rationalist, sculptural aesthetic free of unnecessary ornamentation. Their lamps are intellectual icons of design. Buying Oluce means acquiring timeless sophistication; they are pieces that decorate through geometry and light, perfect for elegant and minimalist environments.
